Revived!

Wow!!! Last post in Jan 27??? My goodness that is old... I wonder why we set up this blog anyway? we all became sleeping partners.... sad.. :( Anyway, saw this site about short stories. Very interesting.

It's called Apostrophe Gallery. There's a part about participating in writing "a short short story " the story should be in 16 words or less... Very interesting... It's only open to Malaysians though.. Check it out... good stuff...

Anyway what has the budak-budak's been up to? well nothing basically... We are all busy studying which is good cause it is good for the future.. -.-" anyways I jsut officially revived this blog and I shall force the rest to do so... nyahahah... cheerios now!

It's raining...

Oh dear.. this here blog is getting a little dead... I shall soon change that... hmm it has been raining pretty badly this pass few days and there are floods everywhere... now my following suggestions only work if there is NO FLOOD. if there is flood... just run for ur life... why are U still at the computer...

U know how rain spoils people's plans. and people tend to stay indoors... well it's not necessary.. trust me...

Things to do when it's raining... *not link to Korean superstar Rain's album*

1. Stare at the rain
- the staring at teh rain can be really therapeutic... it helps U relax... and U might end up daydreaming which actually hepls U be more creative... wat a great tradeoff...

2. think about the rain
- and how miserable U are cause the "darn" rain spoiled all your wonderful plans for the day
- or be really glad that U can stay home and enjoy the comforts of ur home and be blessed that it rains in your country while crops at another country is dying from the endless drought.

3. play in the rain
- nothing can stop U from a little fun. jump around puddles. fold paper boats and set it afloat... start a water fight... Oh try not to do this when there is lightning.. don't want to get electrocuted now do we?

4. take a walk in the rain
- gives U some alone time and think about things that are happening to you. think about ur life... basically just let U think... U might reach some sort of enlightenment

5. start collecting rain water
- U can save ruself some water by collecting the rain water... if ur country rains tonnes.. even better U might not need to pay your water bills anymore... hahaha

6. pretend ur in the perfect storm
- this is actually categorized under number 3. since it's considered play... pretend ur fighting agaisnt the toughest wind and rain... and when U overcome it U can actually feel proud and glad... hehe

Oh well that's about it.. hope U guys enjoyed it though it's kinda corny... anyway.. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year people. It would be another great year.

Kill time while commuting

Commuting can be pretty boring yet it can be fun... here are a couple of useless tips to help U out.


1. Bring a book or some form of entertainment.
- makes sense except that maybe after a while of reading U start getting a little dizzy. a music player would be nice. but U would be able to listen to the "natural" sounds of the beautiful earth

2. Play orgami with the ticket *be it train or bus*
- strongly not advised for tickets that has to be put in to machine again... U don't wanna get stuck at the station... after years and years.. U have ur personal collection of origami and who knows U might get ur 10 seconds of fame or even better get to be in your local newspaper...

3. pretend to fall asleep
- pretend to do so and lean on the shoulder of the person next to U... see what's the person's reaction... try not to laugh to hard after playing though.. U might end up being scolded...

4. play eye contact
- find your pray and start staring at him or her. again observe the person's reaction. of course make sure the person doesn't think that ur trying to flirt with him or her...

5. sing out loud
- put on ur ear phones and sing and dance to the rhythm... see if anyone shout for U to "SHUT THE ********* UP!" I doubt anyone would.. they would just stare at U in a very peculiar way... either that or U might end up in an asylum...

6. start talking to everyone that seems interested in talking
- now this is a good one.... see U can actually make friends... but be very careful.. U wouldn't know if they are tricksters or... some other kind of people that are not in your right company...

hmmm.. wonder if there is anything else... that' s it... Do this and your boring commute is no longer BORING! how ncie eh... ok time out!

How to communicate by not talking?

Now for some absurd tips of how to communicate with one person by not talking to continue berborak-ing? This is very essential if U lost your voice, you are at a meeting, attending a lecture, getting nagged and in situations that restrict U from talking.



1. Use Sign Language

- Of course the other person must understand your sign language so U won't seem to look like a fool or trying to insult the people that actually use sign language which is absolutely not one thing that U want to do.

Upside: exercising of the hand

Downside: Might end up miscommunicating or insulting does that use real sign language. Not to mention U might make a fool out of yourself.







2. Write.

- such a simple thing to do. if U can't talk? write... or email or sms or IM it's so simple. Of course talking would be much faster but what if U lost your voice eh? U can also practive your writing skills too...

Upside: Practice speed writing / typing, make use of the mailing service

Downside: Hand might get too tired after a while






3. Draw.

- play charades... this will allow U to practice your child like artistic skills. This takes much much longer than writing so I suggest writing would be much faster.

Upside: practice drawing skills and creativity

Downside: Too slow and hard to convey long messages



4. Learn how to communicate with your eyes.

- This requires tonnes of pratice mind U. Only Tony Leung can speak with his eyes and this requires A LOT of time so stare at the mirror more and practice does stares!

Upside: Potential acting career

Downside: Might have eye wrinkles real fast and limited words to choose from







5. Learn ventriloquism

- this requires a lot of skill and it takes a real brave person to look at the scary puppet straight in the eye... *shudder* Strict No-no for people with puppet phobia

Upside: Can perform on stage with ur puppet and not to mention speaking without moving your lips

Downside: No real downside except that people might be focusing more on the puppet and not U


6. Speak without moving lips

- quite simliar with the above but this wouldn't be much scary.... I would say this is tougher than the above as this has no puppet for a distraction.

Upside: can make your mumble sound like a voice. People won't know who's talking
Downside: Might get scolding from the people around U about mumbling.



7. Use your face (facial expression)

- non verbal communication at it's best. Like the comunication with the eyes. This requires plenty of practice. Practicing in front of the mirror work best. U wouldn't want to pass the wrong message now would U?

Upside: One look at your face and people would know what U want

Downside: Too much wrinkles too little time.







And that is all... a little boring eh? welll too bad... I shall split now and allow some other budak bore U... hahhaa

Budak Sedang Berborak-ing

Ah the first post for Budak Budak Suka Berborak and I'm the first to write it. What an honour oh Jiadion. So A little intro would be nice eh? well Budak Budak Suka Berborak in direct english translation is "Children that like chit chatting". Budak Budak Suka Berborak which is in Malay sounds much nicer though.

I have no idea what to post as a first post. I don't even know wat we should talk about. Hmmm I shall discuss with Jiadion later in the day. I feel like signing out now but that doesn't so much sincerity for Budak Budak Suka Berborak now would I?

AHA! I shall blog short snippets of things which I feel are interesting enough to continue this here blog which I hope won't die so soon... hahaha ok now. This is the first post of the day hopefully there are people that read this.
